For thousands of years,people have been burying the deceased, exploring stars and establishing buildings to challenge their eras.It is fair to say that human beings are innately endowed with the religious nature of staying detached from themselves.
In the past several thousand years,various regions and cultures shaped diverse religions. Jesus,Mohammed,Buddha and other saints established numerous religions which have continued right up until the present day. Religions have been accompanying human history in various manners, bringing inspirations to literature,architecture,music and painting art.
Today,everyone of us strongly feels the following facts, which are more apparent than they were 3 or 4 decades ago.First, on a worldwide basis, religion has not become history;instead, it has always been at present.Second,there exists a human religious heritage,to which we are the heirs and which we cannot afford to disregard.It took shape some 90 thousand years ago when our ancestors had already learned to conduct funeral for the deceased, a practice that animals would never learn to perform. The activity of consciously burying the deceased indicates that human beings have changed their attitudes towards corpse and death.

Today, every one of us feels strongly of two facts which are more obvious that three or four decades ago. First, in the world, religion is not the past it is always exist with us. Second, there exist a human religious heritage and we are the only herders. We can’t ignore it. Religion comes into existence from ninety thousand years ago, at that time our ancestors had already leant to hold a funeral for the dead. And animals will not do that definitely. Bury the dead consciously indicate that human has changed their attitude towards corpse and death.
What is religion?Fill the current spiritual emptiness, and re-invest life with meaning or through the necessary return to the poetry and despair to fight?
