雅思大作文范文：是否应该禁止对孩子有负面作用的广告
Nowadays we cannot go anywhere without seeing advertisements of one kind or another. The penetration of advertising into our life has gone so far that sometimes we even feel amazed by its ubiquity. Advertising is, of course, very useful, informing us about what to buy, where to buy and how to buy, but it also has negative effects, especially by transforming what we regard as important in our life.
Surrounded by advertisements, we can easily be led to a belief that our life is all about buying things. This widespread consumerism can persuade us into buying many things we do not really need on the one hand, and make us less content with what we have on the other, and crave hopelessly for those unattainable commodities. I still remember a few days ago when walking in front of a supermarket, I saw how a little girl, with her eyes glued to an advertising board, pestered her mother for the expensive toy on it that her mother apparently could not afford. Advertising, then, while providing us with useful commodities information, also creates the unwanted desire at our heart and makes us unhappy.
Meanwhile, lured by the promises of advertising, some people may choose to commit crimes, which then causes a lot of social problems. A student, for instance, may rob his classmate of an iPhone 8, for he has been told by advertising that iPhone 8 is superior to its previous versions. Likewise, an official may take bribery to buy an expensive house by the lake because the advertising says the luxury of living there is superb.
Seen in this light, advertising can affect our way of thinking about life and we, therefore, should be cautious about its negative influences while enjoying the benefits it brings us.

First of al, it’s obvious that kindergartens can offer children more systematic education than household teaching. Theteachers have been well trained of children caring. The kindergarten provides not only good teaching facilities butfriendly and harmonious studying environment where kids can play together and learn how to co-operate in a team.
It is evident that children still do not have enough experiences and abilities to identify what they are really need. Take instance, in my country, many advertising companies produce advertisements with famous sports stars and popular actors or singers. Children buy goods were affected by their favorite stars’ advertises, although they do not really need the products. Therefore, the vast majority of the snack foods that kids see advertised on the TV today are for products that nutritionists would tell us they need to be eating less of, not more of, if we are going to get a handle on childhood obesity. In terms of healthy diet for children, their parents need to develop a healthy eating habit for their children. Instead children were impacted by the fast foods’advertisings. Lastly, an even more significant factor that should be taking into account is those advertising companies’ advertisements are increasing the gap between the rich families and poor families. Children from the poor households may hurt their emotions, lead to an inferiority complex because their parents are not particularly well-off to buy expensive toys or clothes for their children.
On the other hand, those advertisements are very difficult to be prohibited. For TV stations or web sites, broadcast more advertisements on their programs means earn more money. Although in some countries, the governments restrict advertisings which are aimed to children in specific period time. Whereas advertisers in order to achieve their own goals can through other ways to advertising, such like advertising in supermarket or shopping malls.
To put it in a nutshell, I insist on saying that the governments should ban huge number of advertisements are aimed at children. Especially in the sensitive areas of businesses, such like toys and fast food industries.
