Linda, Hi, thanks for your letter of September 9, from which I came to know that you had moved to a new city. You have almost no friends there and after school you just stay at home, killing time on internet. When I moved to the current city to attend the college, I was like you now. Actually, it was worse for me, because I was a foreigner in the new city and I had no friends at all. But, things changed quickly when I found a student association and they had lots of events, like field trips, singing competition or ball games.Very soon, I made some friends and I did not feel lonely any more. You may do the same thing to join some club and meet people with same interests. Do not stay in the virtual world on line but go into a real world. I am sure you will make lots of friends soon, because you are an very interesting girl. Perhaps, you will find a good boy friend there. Cheer up and good luck.

Many who chose to study abroad was aiming for the various of opportunities that was awaiting. However, most of them overlooked some factors that may complicates their pursuit of successfulness.
First of all, most (if not all) students who go abroad do not have a solid communication skill in the foreign language for that country; they have to undertake many difficulties before they can familiarize themselves with that new environment. For examples, they cannot understand anything the teachers or the students say; they cannot learn as well or receive good grades; they cannot express their feelings when they are feeling down; they cannot even ask for directions when they are lost in the campus.
Not only students will undergo many pressures in school, they will undergo pressure in daily life as well. Usually, students who go aboard are on their own. They will spend most of their time in solitude, without parents nor much friends to seek help from, and try to struggle through everything by themselves.
Therefore, studying abroad is not as fascinating as it may always seem. When you hear the accomplishments of a particular students who went abroad, please also remember the difficulties they have came through.
My favourite way of travel would be backpacking,as the cost is low and thus enables me to travel to more places using the same amount of money.There are several other advantages to backpacking,such as freedom of movement; no time constraints; etc.Backpacking will be fun with a few friends,at the same time ensuring safety within the group.As the destination and time is decided by the group,one can fully enjoy the trip without the hassle of the package tour.One can stay at a place he or she likes for a longer period of time than expected because he do not have to abide by the itenary of the tour.Driving a car might have saved the trouble of walking and taking public transport,but traffic conjestion and trouble of finding parking slots are also problems of driving a car.Moreover,taking public transport allows one to experience the life and culture of a place better than in a car.One can observe the behaviour of the people there and to experience how the public transport system works.Tips from the bus drivers might even get one to unexpectedly interesting places not mentioned in travel guide books!
